PowerPoint Quick Tips
Fixing broken links to Movies and Sound
Movies are always linked in PowerPoint. So are all sounds but WAVs.
WAV sounds are linked if their file size exceeds your settings in tools>>options
To avoid linking problems:
Pick (or create) the folder in which you want to store your presentation and movies/sounds. Save your presentation to that folder.
Copy sound and movie files to the same folder.
Insert the sounds and movies into your presentation from that folder.
When you move the PPT file to another computer, be sure to move all the movie and sound files, too. As long as you put them in the same folder as the PPT file, the links will usually not break.
Product Showcase Oxygen InMotion: Motion Backgrounds with Impact
You can't have gone very far down the path of Church Multimedia without the idea of motion coming into view. Many companies are starting to offer different forms of motion for use in services, each with its own personal flare.
Oxygen's InMotion line of moving backgrounds offers a new idea on this powerful concept. Each InMotion background takes our inspirational graphics and creates an effective yet subtle motion background that is perfect for creating impact in your worship service. Each motion background is original in the way we bring it to life. Some of the images are blended together for a powerful collage, and others move slowly across the screen to add a brilliant effect. Right now we have 4 different motion products and hope to have more available within the next month.
Each motion background comes in an MPEG 1 file type, designed for easy use with any worship software. We have currently had many requests for motion backgrounds that work in PowerPoint. Unfortunately, PowerPoint is not a very robust program when it comes to video. Although we have not had time to test it, Crytal Graphics located at www.crystalgraphics.com claims to have a plug-in that allows for text over video in PowerPoint. Feel free to take a look, however most worship software will be better suited for the church environment.

New for Members Survey Results and New Free Stuff
Thank you.
We always appreciate when our members let us know how we can serve you more effectively in the trenches. Our mission as a resource provider is dependent on your communication. We received an excellent response to our motion background survey and with that information and thoughtful prayer, we feel armed to start work on our new InMotion line. As our way of saying thanks, we are placing all of the motion backgrounds you reviewed into the Premier Member section. They are available for you to download absolutely free, just for giving us your advice.
As Premier members, you can also expect to receive Oxygen Vol. 10 in the mail sometime in mid-April. We'll have some of the graphics up earlier in the Premier Member section so you can get a head start on using some of the new awesome images.
As usual, Deluxe Member coupons will be released on the 25th of this month. By then, you will be able to access the new images on our website. The motion line is available for purchase and we have designed our new coupons to cover 100% of any individual image download. This means no extra fees for the more expensive downloads will be charged as long as they are standard motion or still downloads. We hope this added benefit will be a blessing to you and your ministry.
