 A "Perfect" Christmas

Isn't Christmas an amazing time of year? It's the most exhilarating season of all, full of good will, festive activities and an abundance of tradition. My favorite part is definitely the tree. Every year I look forward with HUGE anticipation to finding the perfect tree, cutting it and decorating the branches with a new theme--just about as much as I look forward to the gifts that go under it! I know if I couldn't choose and cut my own tree, old Scrooge and I might be pals.
This year, my need for the "perfect" tree brought with it a new experience: for the first time in my life I undecorated and then redecorated my Christmas tree! Who does that?! It just wasn't quite right the first time, looking somewhat stiff and prickly, half-hearted, stoic. But since it's been redecorated, every night when I turn the tree lights on, I find myself sitting for minutes, simply basking in its wintery warmth, wrapped in the dreamlike feeling of Christmas. PowerPoint shortcuts:
Here is a fast way to insert pre-built PowerPoint slides into another presentation.
Choose the "Insert tab" at the top of the screen. Go to "Insert slides from file." Browse to the appropriate PowerPoint presentation.Choose the different slides you want to add to the new series. Make sure to check the "Keep Source Formatting" box before inserting. This allows you to keep the backgrounds from the original presentation .

As the New Year approaches, we are doing our best to provide you with all of the graphics resources you need for next year. We started by bringing you new collections of art (see article above). We are also going to be adding more worship slides, announcement slides and motion backgrounds to the site. Basic and Deluxe Members will find added resources in our download section. For our Premier Members, we are dedicated to adding more and more imagery, short videos and backgrounds into your section. Our goal is to supply all of the needs that your multimedia department may have in the coming year. Starting in the first months of next year you will also be able to start looking at us as a resource for worship software and other solutions for your multimedia department.

Using Dual Monitors in PowerPoint

The dual screen function in the PowerPoint program is an excellent way to initiate flexibility during your sermon or worship service. Don't misunderstand--worship software specifically designed for the needs of churches will always be the optimum solution, but some churches simply do not have the resources to move in that direction yet. This is where understanding PowerPoint's dual screen capabilities can come in handy.
Dual monitors allow you to shuffle through all the slides in your presentation without disturbing your projection view. If you have ever tried to keep pace with your worship leader as he switches the song order or returns for another round of the reprise, then dual monitors will soon become your best friend.
