This month's Lesson lab helps you get the most out of Oxygen's 5 composition system. Each composition is created in both a .jpg format for worship software connoisseurs and pre-built into PowerPoint.
What are compositions:
Compositions are slides with different patterns of three basic elements; graphic, background, and text. Each composition offers a different combination of elements with a different purpose for creating a powerful consistent transition throughout your sermon graphics. If you take the time to learn each composition and its uses, you will be able to create entire series within no time at all. Let's take a look at each composition and its design.
Composition A: This is a standard PowerPoint style composition. This design offers room for a heading and bullet points. This composition will have the artwork placed on one side of the slide across from the bullets. This composition is best used with Bible text references and quotations with a title.
Composition B: This is the title slide composition. You will find a large title box with plenty of room for a prominent image.
Composition C: This template offers the most room for text. Comp. C is great for inserting worship lyrics or longer paragraph text.
Composition D: This slide template offers you both a large text area and a large image. This slide can add real impact to a verse or quote. Make sure the image used in this slide is powerful and fits well with the text.
Composition E: This template is designed to highlight the artwork. There is room on this composition for a headline or title if you want to add one. This slide is great to use during the moments you want the congregation to be focused on what you are saying. Show an icon image while you speak to increase memory retention and impact.
These five compositions will give you the tools you need to create a beautiful and powerful sermon-style presentation. Keep in mind that all compositions are flexible, and you can create many alternative slides within these five styles. Every piece of Oxygen artwork comes in all five compositions to help take the work out of slide design.
